ELDERCARE by design is a senior in-home care company and the inspiration and labour of love for owner and director, Melissa Donovan. After years of personally assisting her parents coordinate in-home assisted living support services, Melissa has had the opportunity to witness first-hand an ever growing need for non-medical family care services that enable individuals to remain in their own home.
Coming from a family of eight children who were more than happy to open their doors, Melissa and her siblings were all surprised when their parents expressed a strong desire to stay in their own home as long as possible. Out of this experience, the vision for ELDERCARE by design took shape and a new fresh approach to senior services was born based on understanding, respect and support!
At ELDERCARE by design we believe that
everyone has the right to enjoy their home and not be overcome
by necessary, but often tiresome maintenance.
As the waiting list grows for senior residences, the necessity and the cost savings of maintaining independence often becomes a more feasible option with the right support. Family members are not always able to fill in with the additional help. Our services are designed to support where needed.
ELDERCARE by design differentiate ourselves by offering our clients a concierge-style approach to non-medical in-home care for seniors support services.
